Julia Lipnitskaia, 15-Year-Old Russian Figure Skating Sensation

The fifteen-year-old Julia Lipnitskaia becomes the darling of the Sochi.

Fifteen-year-old Julia Lipnitskaia scored a 72.90 to record the highest total among individual women skaters during the figure skating team ladies short program at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics.

Lipnitskaya, who is the youngest skater in the games, proved that her victory at last month’s European Championship was no accident.

Today She nailed with her flexibility and fast rotation on her spins and jumps.

“I’ve never seen anything like the atmosphere out there today. There wasn’t any silence for a single second,” Lipnitskaya told reporters.

“It was so loud, I could barely hear my music. All I could hear were the shouts of ‘Ju-li-a’ and ‘Ru-ss-ia’”, she added.
